How to Share Your Contact Information

Business Card Functionality

Your Sutton Smart Business Card features the ability to share your information seamlessly to your contacts’ smartphone devices by scanning its custom QR code.

Step 1

Enable QR Code Scanning

(as needed)

Android smartphone devices of version 8.0 or above already include QR code scanning through their standard camera apps, and are ready to use right away.

Android smartphone devices of version 7.0 or below may require a third-party application to allow QR code scanning. Simply visit the Google Play Store and download and app to help you get started.

Step 2

Scan the QR code

With your camera app (standard or third-party), simply position the camera over the Sutton Smart Business Card to ensure the QR code is in view.

If the code appears blurry, simply tap it on the screen to automatically focus the camera.

Once the camera app has completed it’s scan, a link will appear which you may tap to directly load your online profile via the web browser of  your choice.

Step 3

Load the Sutton Profile

Once your Sutton profile page has loaded to the web browser, the device will be ready to download and save the contact information internally.

Simply tap the red button ‘Save [FirstName LastName]’s Contact’ to download the profile’s contact information onto the device. A V-Card prompt will appear to confirm that you wish to download the contact into the device’s internal phonebook.

Step 4

Save the Contact Information

Agree to download and open the V-Card, and then tap the ‘Import’ button to save the contact onto the device.

Your contact information has now been safely stored onto the device!
